Phantasmal Flames released November 14, 2025 as the second set of the Mega Evolution era, built around Mega Charizard X. The main list runs 94 cards and reaches 130 with the secret rares, the smallest regular English set in about eight years, which keeps the chase tight: the Mega Charizard X ex Special Illustration Rare and the gold Mega Hyper Rare that closes the set. The pack arts run Mega Charizard X, Mega Gengar, Mega Lopunny and Mega Heracross.
