Abyss Eye (M5) released in Japan on May 22, 2026 and is the Japanese set behind the English Pitch Black expansion. It is the Dark-type set of the Mega era: Mega Darkrai ex debuts with a Mega Ultra Rare and a Special Illustration Rare, Mega Zeraora ex and Mega Chandelure ex join it, and the Muk Special Illustration Rare and Slowbro Art Rare are the collector favourites below the headliners. The main set runs 81 cards with 37 secrets, and it was the first set sold at 200 yen per pack in Japan.
