Inferno X (M2) released in Japan on September 26, 2025 as the second Mega-era set, and it is the Japanese set behind the English Phantasmal Flames expansion. Mega Charizard X ex leads it, and its Mega Ultra Rare has been the single most expensive pull of the Mega era so far, with the Special Illustration Rare close behind; Mega Sharpedo ex and Mega Heracross ex share the set, and the Dawn trainer is the Special Illustration Rare chase. The main set runs 80 cards before secrets.
